I’m a certified Reading Specialist, Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist and a teacher with over 20 years of experience in the classroom.

Perhaps most importantly, I am the mom of a struggling reader. Yes, I have been in your shoes! My child needed help and despite my extensive educational background, I could not reach him.

I originally set out to learn all I could do for my child. I ended up unlocking a lifetime of knowledge that I have since applied in my classroom, tutoring and beyond.

My child received the explicit, systematic, sequential, multi-sensory instruction he needed to make growth. The difference that has made in his confidence and performance astounded me so much, that I KNEW I needed to help other students and families feel this way!

Years later, I have completed hundreds of hours training, numerous classes and a practicum. I have gained the expertise needed to help as many families as possible. I continue to research and learn more of how to perfect my craft, so that I can be your family’s best asset.

I know what it’s like to be afraid and feel hopeless when it comes to helping your child. I am living proof that there IS hope. I intend to be that GLOWING ray of hope to help your child be successful in LITERACY.
